Sunday 01 October

Tasting and self-guided tour : Relax over a Sunday morning tasting and self-guided tour at Phantom Creek Estates, a flagship winery in the south Okanagan’s highly regarded Black Sage Road, owned by Richter Bai. Wines from the South Okanagan (the north end of the Sonoran Desert) tend to be well rounded and richer in style. A 1½ hour drive south of Kelowna. Phantom Creek Winery, Black Sage Bench

Lunch will be hosted at Poplar Grove Winery, with owner Tony Holler and family. Located on the east side of Okanagan Lake in the Naramata Bench sub-geographic indication, overlooking the south end of Okanagan Lake and the city of Penticton. Poplar Grove’s wines, to be served alongside those of their nearby winery friends, reflect the slightly cooler climate and fresh acidity found on the Naramata Bench.
